Just a few days ago, the festive decoration of the streets was completed. In the coming months, the municipality will hold a number of events in different parts of the city. On Sunday, November 27, at 17:30, in the presence of Parliament Speaker Annita Demetriou, the Christmas tree and all the city lights will be solemnly lit on Europe Square. Singers, dance groups, children’s philharmonic society and municipal children’s choir will perform on the occasion.
On the Europe Square on November 25th opens Christmas Luna Park, which will work until January 8. On December 10 Santa Claus, surrounded by majorettes, elves and other fairy tale characters will ride through Larnaca. On December 19 a big concert will be held in the shopping district of the city.
From December 19 to 24 and from December 27 to 30 there will be numerous Christmas events with music, theater and dance groups in Ermou, Pallas, Agiu Lazarou and Armenikis Ekklisias squares. С
